I've played around with Crystal 8.5 some, but I'm by means no expert. I have a bunch of old reports for a legacy system and we have to use the same layout for the new reports in our new system. So new database, new fields, etc.. I am having a couple problems:

1. I have reports with Page Header, Report Header, and Group Header. I know how to add everything BUT Group Header. On the new report, I am adding all the headers. When going to Insert->Section, Group Header is NOT one of my choices. Why? I need to add that.

2. Is there anyway to just copy the entire report format and move it over? I have tried using the old reports and setting up the database connections (that way I didn't have to lay them all out again in a new report), but it still seems to want to map field objects to the old database. Hence why I am creating new reports. Any tips or ideas here? Thanks... ;-)

The group header and group header are added automatically when you insert a GROUP. The group header is typically where the heading information for the following related detail records is described, and the group footer is typically where subtotals for the preceding detail records reside. The more groups you add, the more group headers and footers are created (one each for each group). Both or either can be supressed.
