Hi Folks; how are you doing?

I have a dell vostro 1400 laptop that has been configure from factory to work only with windows vista, mi question is; is there any way to add more device drivers on a win xp-pro sp2 in order to install win xp.

To integrate the SATA drivers use nLite and download the correct INTEL Storage Drivers from the DELL website...

that is basically all that is needed to get you started, but you can also use nLite to integrate all the other drivers, including the graphic card drivers...

nLite:

coronel - do you mean you can't install XP from a standard install CD? (I've never come across that before)
