I have a custom homepage that I made and have it stored at the following location

C:\sample.html

I paste this address for my homepage, then when I click home it goes directly to this page.

The problem I am having is there is javascript on this page, and Internet Explorer 6 prompts security issues, then each time I click home, I have to click the top, Allow content, etc.

I tried clicking internet options, security, then adding C:\sample as a trusted site but it then stated that a site had to ahve a valid http: addy. So I tried clicking local intranet site and adding it that way but I have the format wrong.

Anyone know how to add this C:\sample.html into my permanent trusted sites so i dont get any security prompts when it goes to the page?

thanks

doesnt the popup also include the option to always allow?

To fix this address the page by computername.

i.e. \\MyPC\C$\sample.html
