how to add continuous background in director

i am developing a CD in director 8 which contains several movies and i want to add a background music so i add a .wav (same in each movie )file in the sound channel of each movie .
when i shift from one movie to other the sound pauses for some time and then starts as that perticular movie loads
i want a continuous music effect so how to achive that

You can use a external sound. Play the sound in the Director insted of the movie and this doesn't happen anymore. Use in the movie, only the images and play the sound with the command:

on enterFrame
puppetSound "nameOfTheCastSound",3
end
