I need to know how to add a task in the Windows NT task manager?

I need to add,modify,delete de task from my visual basic program. Using APIS or other tools.

Thanks

I've seen code before that hides your program from the task manager...this might help you. I can't remember how it's done, but I'll look and post a link.

Found it:
App.Taskvisible = False

I don't really know anything about this, though. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

I actually had to do this at work, so I feel I am somewhat of a master at this. Here are some links to get you started:

Code:
[URL unfurl="true"]http://x60.deja.com/[/URL][ST_rn=ps]/getdoc.xp?AN=539797424&CONTEXT=971472271.1356922908&hitnum=28

Obviously, Microsoft didn't want the general programmer to know this stuff, so it had to be reverse engineered. The key is with the NT only dll, "ntdll.dll" I hope this helps. I have to give credit to Matt Pietrek and Yariv Kaplan for help and the links! In NT, this is a nightmare to understand/code. If I can find the code I wrote, I can email it to you.
