How to add a task to the W NT task manager

I need to know how to add a task in the Windows NT task manager?

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean. When you start an exe in NT, it should automatically add itself into the NT task manager. Could you be more specific?

I've seen code before that hides your program from the task manager...this might help you. I can't remember how it's done, but I'll look and post a link.

Obviously, Microsoft didn't want the general programmer to know this stuff, so it had to be reverse engineered. The key is with the NT only dll, "ntdll.dll" I hope this helps. I have to give credit to Matt Pietrek and Yariv Kaplan for help and the links! In NT, this is a nightmare to understand/code. If I can find the code I wrote, I can email it to you.
