How to add a new Phone Button Template

Hi,

I am trying to add a second add on module to a Cisco 7965 but I cannot create a new phone button template for it. I have a template for one add on but not two add ons. When I try adding a new phone button template the only option is to copy an existing template. We a have a CUCM 6.1.

copy the original and then make changes to the copy to reflect what you want.

I can copy and modify a template. I only have a 7965 with 1 add on module template but I need a template with 2 add on module.

Device-Device settings-phone button template
click on Copy icon of existing phone type closest to what you want to do
use drop down choices to choose what you want for each key.
Rename to something you recognise and save.
If you want to use the same template with two add on modules, in the phone itself you can choose to use one or two modules without messing with the templates. look in the expansion module information section of the phone programming.
