Thnak you for your reply.
I tried the command on SAT but it didn't work.
Which CLI should I use? (CM, SP)
Is it depending of login type?

Madil -- what happens when you attempt to "add media..." inside of SAT?

FYI, this is where it is done.

XXXX@cmlsp> sat

his system is restricted to authorized users for legitimate business purposes.
Please enter one of the following action command words:

busyout export release
clear get reset
disable import set
display list status
enable monitor test
erase notify

Enter capital 'R' to repeat the last command

Or enter 'logoff' to logoff the system

"add" is an invalid entry; please press HELP
Command: add media-gateway 3

THANK YOU

When I put help on SAT I have no change command:

amouinet@cmlsp> sat

his system is restricted to authorized users for legitimate business purposes.
Please enter one of the following action command words:

busyout export release
clear get reset
disable import set
display list status
enable monitor test
erase notify

Enter capital 'R' to repeat the last command

Or enter 'logoff' to logoff the system

Thank you

Which login are you using?
and what version of CM are you using and is this a new install?

If you are not a priviliged user such as dadmin you may not be able to add the gateway.
Also if your trying register this gateway for licensing you may have run past the 30 minute timer for license check and will have to run the command reset system 4 from sat to reset Communication Manager and the timer.

After all that is done remember you need to log into the G450 services port and setup the G450's ip and MGC (media gateway controller) list for it to register to the S8300.

You must add this in the main server, not the lsp

It s exact AvayaTier3,
I had a proble to create a survivable-processor..
I create a node with ADD NODE-names ip then the survivable-proc... then all was working :)
My problem now is when I disconect my main CM netxork card, my 46XX ip set found the lsp (G450 registred on the lsp), and when reconnect, the phone wait one hour before registerring on the main! Can I change the reg time for G450 (on the media or the CM)
On phone tftp server I put:

############### CALL SERVER SETTINGS (H.323) #############
##
## MCIPADD specifies a list of addresses for H.323 call servers.
## Addresses can be in dotted-decimal (IPv4), colon-hex (IPv6, if supported), or
## DNS name format, separated by commas without any intervening spaces.
## The list can contain up to 255 characters; the default value is null ("").
## A value set in this file will replace any value set for MCIPADD via DHCP.
## This parameter is supported by:
## 16xx H.323 R1.0 and later software releases
## 3631 H.323 R1.0 and later software releases
## 46xx H.323 R1.0 and later software releases
## 96x0 H.323 R1.0 and later software releases
## 96x1 H.323 R6.0 and later software releases
## SET MCIPADD 172.116.50.111,172.116.50.131
##
## STATIC specifies whether a call server IP address that has been
## manually programmed into the telephone will be used instead of
## values received for MCIPADD via DHCP or this settings file.
## Value Operation
## 0 File server and call server IP addresses received via DHCP or
## this file are used instead of manually programmed values (default).
## 1 A manually programmed file server IP address will be used.
## 2 A manually programmed call server IP address will be used.
## 3 A manually programmed file server or call server IP address will be used.
## This parameter is supported by:
## 16xx H.323 R1.0 and later software releases
## 46xx H.323 R2.1 and later software releases
## 96x0 H.323 R1.0 and later software releases

## SET STATIC 1
