how to add a default gateway

I need to add a default gateway to enable me to see printers on another network.
I have the default gateway address and the ip addresses of the printers.
I just don’t have the command to add it. I have done a man for route but it did not give it.
Sun Solaris 5.7

Yyou need something like
route add default 10.0.0.1

(assuming 10.0.0.1 is your gateway's IP address)
