how to add 2 measures in cognos crosstab 8.2 ?

1. Build crosstab with first measure
2. Select 2nd measure from insertable objects and drag it to the right of the cell containing the first measure untill a single | appears , drop the second measure there.
Cognos will now add 2 new node members to the crosstab to distinguish between the 2 measures.
It is a finnicky operation to say the least, since there are so many ways to get it wrong..
