Hello,
I am testing vmware workstation 5.5 with windows XP Professional. My computer has a dual core processor and I want to use 1 guest OS (created with vmware workstation 5.5) with only one physical processor. With this method, if i use 2 guest OS, I can allocate 1 core for 1 guest OS and the other core for the other guest OS.
I am asking you this because at this time, if i create a virtual machine with only one virtual processor, the 2 physical processors are used (this is the default behaviour)and I only want to use one.
Does anyone can help me ?
Thank you.
PS : I am not an english speaker so I apologize if my written style is not perfect !
