how to active an FTP server on a Windows XP

i want to start an FTP server on my Windows Xp ..i heard that Xp has the feture and i dont have to download any programs...i;ve been trying to figer out how but i couldn't figer it out ..could anyone help me please.

Think you need to install IIS - its an optional windows component (add/remove programs, add/remove windows components).
