Iam trying to transfer files between 2 PC based on Win Xp ..i need to open a Ftp sever on both of them and i heard that I can open an Ftp server with out any programs ..and Win Xp has this feture but i can't figer out how to do it ..
can any one show me how please

I am going to assume that you have them on a network of some sort, and that they are in the same domain.. Why dont you just enable sharing and share the directories that have the files that you are trying to move between machines?

I dont see why you should have such a hard time moving files from one pc to the other.

Why are you posting this in the Linux forum??

Shouldn't you be in the XP forum??

Anyway - I agree with franksoprano - share the folder. It is very simple in XP (right click the folder). Alternatively, use the shared folders installed by default in XP...
