I can access the web server, ftp server a.s.o from WAN but not from the LAN and i think this is because of not loopback.
is there a way to activate nat loopback in cisco PIX 501 to access web servers in owe LAN?

Regards

Post your config and i Might be able to help you out. Are you using Nat? If so do you have statics set up? And if you are using statics are you pinging the NATed ip of the webserver? Also if you dont want to ping via the NATed address Look into the Nat (inside) 0 command

Just to confirm, you have a server on the inside that your internal clients are trying to reach via an external DNS server's record.

The pix won't do loopback. It will do DNS alias.
As the DNS response traverses the pix this doctors the DNS server's response to the internal client with a new internal IP for the resource.
