how to activate and deactivate MTC on an analog phone in Avaya CM?

We're trying to get our call tracer working again. When we use an 1140 or J-Series phone the MTC works, and we can download the logs. However, when activated from a plain old analog phone, it won't activate. Is there a default button combo to activate and deactivate it such as *57 or something? or where in the CM can I go to check the settings for it are?

Mst-debug button is for phones with multiple call appearances.

R016 and R017 have feature-access-codes programmable for this.
