My background is mostly in Windows Server installs of CE-10 and BOE-XI.

Anyone know how to access the CCM for BOE-XI on an AIX server..?

Thanks in Advance.

Didn't know there was one for Unix, we did everything by script.

You might be better off posting what it is you wish to do rather than asking how to find specific software.

SV -

Trying to get all the services enabled and running on a TEST AIX platform.

It was installed by someone else a few months ago - and I am walking-in now.

The CMS doesn't seem to be starting - I think they have purged the underlying CMS database.

I need to find out what was configured originally for DB...and maybe recreate the DB for the CMS.

Thanks!

Hiya MJRBIM, didn't notice that it was you, sorry about that generic response.

The services run as Daemons in Unix, and a script is generally run to start/stop them, though you can command line it.

This might prove useful:

Good luck with it!

I'm not sure if this is the case for AIX but the Central Configuration Manager utility for Solaris is ccm.sh and there is an odbctest.sh utility for testing ODBC connections. I'd reckon it'd be similar for AIX.

If I have the Central Configuration Manager installed for Windows on another machine, can I communicate with the BOBJ services on the AIX server by putting the AIX server name in the SERVER window?

I expect the answer is no, but I thought I would ask....

THANKS!
