How to access LENEL System through JAVA? Is there any API?

I need to access the LENEL System to get the information of an employee and his photo in it. I have no idea about it. Please provide me solution for this.

The Lenel OnGuard Universal Interface Server (UIS) enables advanced users to import data and images into
the OnGuard database or export data and images from the database. The file used for import or created by
export can be structured in a wide variety of ways, but is always in ASCII text format. The user can
configure the import procedures to put the new data into any of the tables of the OnGuard database. Export
data can be taken from any tables in the database.

I need to get the images from the LENEL database.

BTW, timw is correct - there is no way I'm going to go to lenel's homepage and start ressearching it for you. You need to work yourself too !

Our client is having the employee info in the Lenel system. Lenel database is mainly used for storing the images and needed info. I have to access the lenel to retrieve the emp photos and display to them.

Kindly give me suggestions.

Well I would start off by asking what services this Lenel thing exposes ? How can you extract data from it ? Does it provide a JDBC driver ? Do they expose any APIs for accessing the data ? Do they provide a SOAP, or some other protocol service ?

Once you have answered these questions, then we can help you. You have to help yourself you know - we are not paid support for you or Lenel !!!
