Gents;
I have an application (turbotax, actually) on my failed laptop's hdd which I have copied to a NAS using windows explorer (the entire drive to a folder).
Thanks to our friendly IRS I now have a need to actually work with that program again to retrieve some tax information that was entered.
Is there a way that I can access the NAS drive but trick the program/PC into thinking that its actually the C: drive for the purpose of running that program and accessing the data?
Or does someone know where the config file(s) are for Turbotax for 2006 are located?
Thanks, all. The IRS is counting on you!!!
