How to access Digital Camera

Hi,

I am using SuSe Linux 7.0. I am new in Linux system.
I want to access my Digital Camera from USB Port.
Please guide me what i have to do like what i have to mount etc.

Have you looked at gphoto2 (

That's how I get to the images on my digital camera from RedHat.

The best way (IMO) is to use a memory card reader.
