How to access current selection in view

I have an address book view and one action button to pop up message box containing data from the selected document (the one where the cursor is on), but I am having difficulty in determining the correct script function to do so
I have browse the help included but I am unable to find Get Selected Document method in the Notes View class
Anybody have any experience or trick to overcome this ?
