I have a new server I would like to install on the network.
I installed Netware 5.0 and now I am trying to install the support pack 6a from a CD-ROM. THe problem is that I cannot access the CD-ROM. I heard you have to mount the CD-ROM as a volume first? If that's the case, how do I do that? PLease help!!

1. Load the CDROM.NLM
2. Enter CD DEVICE LIST to list the volume name of the CD in the drive
3. Enter CD MOUNT [VOLUME NAME] or CD MOUNT [DEVICE NUMBER] to mount the volume

With Netware 5 all you need to do is type CDROM at the comand prompt, the cdrom.nlm will load and mount the cd. You will just need to type VOLUMES at teh command prompt to get the volume name for loading the update.

You can also type nss /cdrom. This will load the cdrom support files. Lee Smith
