How to Acceot Cookies in IE6? 1

When trying to log in to certain websites (namely eBay) it says my browser is not accepting cookies. However, when I go to internet options I set my security level as medium or less and I still get the message. How else might my browser be blocking cookies? Im using IE6.

In Internet Options, look at the bottom of the Privacy tab.

I have already tried setting ebay.co.uk and signin.ebay.co.uk as sites I want to allow cookies from - but i still get the error.

Any other ideas?

I know this sounds far-fetched, but is the time set correctly on the pc in question? If it is out of whack, you can have problems of this sort.

I am having the same issue with one site in particular. it was suggested to clear the cache and clear the cookies. I did not that and it made no difference but other users did it and it worked. might want to try that.
