Hello, I had problem. I had considered some days.
I used AIX5L and DB2 V8.1 FP2.
I had processed a stored procedure. But the application was excuted unlimited loop. I endted ctrl+c. So, I had excuted the command "force application (application handle no.)".
But, the application was not killed. I had not methods. So, I had killed the process_id aboout the application.(locks process, fenced process, ... , etc). But the application was not forced.
Finally, I killled the application agent_id process.
All user's applicaoins about Instance was killed. it was db2 stop. I must be db2start.
Why the applciation (about unlimited loop) was not forced?
But,
I tested DB2 V7.2 and AIX 4.3.3. It excuted ctrl+c and forced smoothly.
Is it the problem which DB2 and AIX ?
Please, I am waitting your good idea.
