How those Alert Manager Work for McAfee 4.51?

Good day to all,
those anybody knows how McAfee 4.51 Alert Manager work. I specify wich server to send the error message, but do you need to install what they call McAfee Alert Manager Server or alert could be capture by a Syslog application like Kiwi Syslog? If not where do I get that McAfee Alert Manager Server?

Hi

Alert Manager comes with NetShield.
So, any server running NetShield needs to have it's Alert Manager configured to handle any alerts sent by other systems.
