how solve problems with pcmcia usb2 adapter??

seems like lots of people are trying to add usb2 to their laptops via a pcmcia adapter. but lots of them are having problems. can anyone suggest solutions for adding usb2 to toshiba satellite series? (1100-s101)

I think you should connect that one to a usb2 slot in your computer. Do you have a usb2 slot in your computer
