At first I've got so excited about the tv-tuner that I didn't realize that I cannot listen to music from winamp unless I borrow the speakers from the tv-tuner.

Could someone suggest a solution to having only one set of speakers and 2 sources: tv-tuner, and onboard sound.

Thanks in advance,

JDL

What kind if tuner is this?

No matter the make/model, I would expect to route the audio out from the tuner to the audio inputs on your sound card, and hook up the speakers from the soundcard outputs.

I've seen one model do this with an 1/8 mini male-to-male patch cable, but usually the tuner will have internal connectors.

It's not a fiber cord you need (it's not optical)

Just a standard audio cable, 1/8 male to 1/8 male.
