Hi folks,

When I'm looking at my server, I notice whenever someone starts a new session a tiny file gets created... This file has whatever session variables have been registered in it. MY QUESTION IS: Does session data get stored to ram? Will extensive use of session data gobble up ram, or is it ONLY written to the HD?

Of course ... when you start the session the server automaticaly loads up all the session file to RAM.

And what's the problem? The price of RAM now is low and, i resume, you are not going to save in Session vars GB of info. Only a few K's. So you don't have problems in sessions. Anikin
