I have been trying to do this for a while now.

I have a network with a win2k server domain, and multiple client computers. I have been trying to make it so that when a computer starts up that doesnt have service pack 4 installed, the group policy auto applies the service pack. I have already packaged the sp4 as a msi and try to deploy it using group policy, but it doesnt seem to work. I have computers with sp3 that do not auto upgrade. How can I do this?

if you can affort, some high price tag patch management tool can do just that, or just go cheap like us use the HFNetChkPro LE, allowe to patch up to 50 svr/workstation, from it saved me big time patched all the servers befor the blaster striks. good luck
