I have half Solaris users and half PC Win2k users. I want the Win2k users can access their unix home by mapping the unix server like \\server\userid . And I got samba...

Now I have samba source code for Solaris2.7
1. I want to install samba on a server which is the nis+ master server.
2. I hope PC users use their Unix account password maintained by NIS+ database to access the home through samba

How do I:
1. make and install the source code? any configure need to be change?
2. how to config smb.conf file to implement the service.

Many thanks in advance!!
