How re-open previous days 2

At times I've not closed out checks to their respective categories before the nightly grind occurs. This ends up with comped checks that are still open being closed to cash. I have just recently changed the time of the automatic grind, but I need to re-open to re-grind some days. Is there a way to do this?

Yes there is, however, I'm not sure that it would be ethical to post this info in a forum. Why? Because an unethical manager could rip off a store if they knew that perhaps the owner was absentee and didn't keep tight reigns on some things.
