How often do you need to rebot SCCS with NICE

How often do you need to rebot SCCS with NICE and what is the procedure for doing this??? What does Nortel recommend??

Yes, SCCS talks to NICE as part of its' CTI applications. Yes, NICE is a call recording app. Any ideas..??

There is no need to reboot as long as all the connections are fine. However......

We have a NICE Log recorder/Symposium 4.2/Tapi

I try to restart bi-monthly in the following sequence:
(out of hours of course)
ShutDown NICE CLS
ShutDown NICE Lable Writer
ShutDown NICE Logger
Shutdown Tapi
Shutdown Symposium WebClient
Restart Symposium
Start Tapi
Start Symposium WeClient
Start Nice Logger
Start CLS and Lable Writer

Just to ensure all connections come back up correctly (I also try not to install updates if everything is working fine)

Do you mean how many times do you need to reboot Symposium as a result of Nice? If this is the case, very rarely.

We always check the stuff that hangs off the Symposium after SCCS is rebooted e.g. Nice, Genesys TServer to check that it has reconnected.
