We starting writing our own because we were tired of the high cost of software packages, then we came across

and ditched our development. It was hard decision for the guys emotionally involved in writing the software but the cost and facilities offered by TelcoTwo just made writing our own a non starter.

You think it is easy to write this stuff. Like everything, it looks easy until you start. Some of these guys have years of experience on this subject. I know, I tried and failed.
