How much will be replicated? (Dial up Notes)

Hi Peeps,

I'm a newbie to this forum and would greatly appreciate some help on a slight problem or limitation in lotus notes.

I'm currently configuring laptop computers to use the dial-up access to our lotus notes server. Everything is working fine and dandy, i can send, receive, replicate address books and mail files etc... Sorted!

One thing I have discovered in the replication settings under basics is the tick box next to RECIEVE DOCUMENTS FROM SERVER, there are 4 options: Full Documents, Partial Documents, Summary Only and Smallest First.

What I want is to download the summary only (ie. who its from and the subject line) to save the old phone bill! If I want to download the full message then how would I go about this? At the moment the message shows as TRUNCATED and I dont know how to "UN-TRANCATE" the message!? Is this possible in lotus notes?

Hello,

When you have Truncated messages, you can instruct your users to select the message and click "Actions, Retrieve Entire Document" when in the office. This will pull in the attachment.
