How Much RAM is you Exchange Server using

Just wanted a poll on RAM utilization on Exchange Server, Mine seems kinda high at 1092628. The store process alone is 940MB with approximately 450 users. If you could just let me know what yours is and how many users.

Hi!

There is a big problem with the memory use in exchange 5.5.
We have a 15 users and the STORE.EXE process eats 500MB of memory. After the 3-7 days the total amount of memory tha will be allocated under the STORE.EXE will be aproximately 900mb. I don't understand what is the problem. I'm use WNT4.0Server+SP6 + SP4 for exch. Do you have some advices?

Ours is also Exchange 5.5 and I came from a place where we were using Exchange 2K and it didnt use nearly this much. From other people Ive talked to 5.5 just seems to use that much regardless of the number of users. Kinda odd dont you think?

Ye... it is a very strange!
But as in the earler articles mentioned , maybe it is a good idea to reinstall all and apply a SP3 on exch5.5 but not sp4.

This is by design. Did you buy all this ram for it not to be used? When something else needs the ram the store releases it. If it doesn't then worry.
