I'm working on my long-term plans here.

I'm currently back at a university getting a BS and then MS in computer science (4.0 so far!). I am also working P/T on campus as an Oracle DBA - but everything I learn is strictly OJT. I am looking at what I should plan to concentrate on during the next 2 years as I prepare to re-enter the F/T workforce.

A few questions:
1) Because I will only have this P/T work for Oracle experience, should I pursue getting Oracle DBA certification before I graduate?

2) What is the pay range for Oracle DBA's with and without certification? (How about if you throw a current defense high level security clearance into the mix?)
