I created an archive rule to move a bunch of emails from the network folders to a local archive on my c: drive. The rule successfully put the documents in like named folder in the archive.

Now I would like to "restore" or "reverse archive" some or all of them back to their original folders.

I cannot figure out how to do that. Selecting and dragging and dropping a folder does not work; selecting individual documents and dragging/dropping seemed to work once or twice, then stopped.

What is the best way to do this?

Thanks!
