i had installed slackware 8.0, i can run Xwindow and brows the net. But i have one problem now: there is 5M of free space in my HD (only 1 partion / =/dev/hda6 )

i formatted the xin$ partition /dev/hda4 ;-) so i have now 2G of free space ext2, how can i mount the /usr to the new formatted partition (/dev/hda4), without losting my data (in order to use the new space created in /dev/hda6 by changing the location of /usr)

Mount the new partition on /newusr
cp -a /usr/* /newusr/.
umount /usr
rm /usr
mount /newusr at /usr/ instead.
