How many VM domains I can have in an enviroment?

The information you are looking for with this question is in the concepts and planning guide for MM. There are no limits to the number of VMDs within an environment. There are however limitations of certain features between some of them, depending on their backends. There are also limitations within VMDs themselves (number of MAS servers, etc).
