I'm using Gw 6.0 ver.

That is depending on a few factors.
1. LAN/WAN speed
2. Types of users (heavy, light)
3. What mode the GW client connects with (UNC, tcp/ip)
4. Server performance.
5. etc, etc, etc.

We service a little over 4,600 users on 5 PO's. Each PO is on it's own server with no other applications running on that server. Each GW system is different, and requires an Admin to balance and tweak the system to find the best possible flow without going over the edge. Here is a link that outlines what Novell says about GW Sizing Recommendations (scalability and tuning). Have a good one!

Thanks for the info. I'm new to the environment so I'm still trying to find some info. But I do know we're using the tcp/ip to connect clients and the users are light to med users. How many users do you have on one po?

On our largest PO we have 1,000+ accounts.

Do you any problems with archiving? My company had 900 users on one po and the archiving was causing the po to run very slow.
