Hi all

We are closing a site soon which has 3 port network consisting of 6 x G650's with all the cards. We have 32 other PN's all consisting of 2 x G650's each of those already contain 1 x TN2602 Medpro's 320 Xfires per G650

Does the Avaya permit more that 1 x TN2602 Medpro's per G650 and if so do they need to be in specific slots

Thanks all

Convention I've seen is slot 14, but they can be in any slot. I don't think there's a max to how many you can put in, though a PN can only use 320 DSPs.

Practically speaking, 1 2602 can provide the max the PN can handle. They can be licensed for 80 or 320 channels. In theory, you could have 4x80channels and double that to have redundancy if you wanted.

From a non-practical standpoint, you could probably have 25 point-to-point T1 circuits connecting 25 disparate sites that can't IP route to one another and have 25 MedPros to connect each site via the 1 TDM bus if you really wanted to.

Max 2 TN2602 per port network --- can be configured as load sharing or bearer duplication
