Acording to Release 7.0 Feature Reference Release 7.0 increases the maximum number of digital telephones supported from
127 to 200 by introducing a new 016 MLX module. The system has a total capacity of 352 physical jacks (80 outside
lines/trunks plus 272 extension.
I have Merlin Legend R7 v14
Processor CKE4 Hardware Vintage: 02 Legend R7 v14
016 MLX module qty 10 Ext 160
012 (T/R) module qty 1 Ext 12
016 (T/R) module qty 2 Ext 32
100D DS1 module qty 3 Line 72
800 GL-id module qty 1 Lines 8

I found that the last 4 extensions in the the last 016 (T/R) module are not available. They do not show on the inventory of the last 016 (T/R) module in slot 15. I've put in a know good module and even tried a 016 MLX did a Board Renumber with the same result no more than 200 extensions available. I missing something I know so I'm head down hat in hand can somebody set me straight.
Thanks

You have 204 extensions.
160+12+32= 204
4 over the max.
The last four on the last extension board will not work.
No mystery.

200 extensions is the limit for the Legend R7 and all Magix processors. However....you could add a Multi-Function Module to some MLX telephones to allow the connection of analog devices (a fax machine for example) to those digital phones.
