How many reports are viewing at the time?

We have experienced the performance issues with our reports due to many reports are viewing on-demand during peak hours. Does any one know how to get the number of reports are requesting at the time? We plan to give our the message if number of reports are requesting are too high when user selects report to view from the application.

Is every request for a different set of values? If it's all the same report, then you could export as Excel or PDF and let people look at that.

Post the software used it's version.

You can limit the number of jobs processed using the CMC to set the page server/job server/cache server setttings.

And consider addingin another Page Server and other tuning efforts.

Finally, mak sure that your reports run optimally, the common problem is with mediocre Crystal people (I know, everyone is an expert...) not making sure that everything that can be is processed on the database. This means optimizing the record selection formulas, and in general using best practices.
