How many remote shelves can a CS1000 hold?

Hello all,

Is there a limit to the amount of remote shelves that a CS1K can have hanging off of it? I currently have two remotes and 5 shelves in the PBX itself.

Yes all systems have limits. What software release are you running? Hardware platform?

You also need to define a remote shelf a little more clearly. You can have multiple mini-carrier remotes - essentially two card slots which are IPE shelf based; or Fiber Remote MultiIPE which can carry 2-4 superloops with 32 cards each and reside as SUPL cards, limited by your platform/system.
It all boils down to groups/loops.
