Hi Guys,
I have a Access2000 database with near 13,000 records within.
Someone suggested that It would be at its limit soon!!
Can anyone tell me what the database will hold?
I am quite concerned as there are thousands of records to be added.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
Regards
Les

Hello Les,
This statement, that your database is nearly at its' limit, is quite entertaining LOL. Unfortunately this person doesn't know what they are talking about. 13,000 records is quite average. There is no true limit on the amount of records that Access can hold. Some databases hold millions of records without any problems. The only limit is a 1 or 2 gig [I forget which] size limit on the database itself.
Good Luck, Robert

Hey Robert,
What Joy you bring !!
I was worried I had some sticky work ahead.
Thanks,
Les

You should have no problems. Just do a repair & compact every so often to keep your database running optimal. Robert

I have an Access Database with multiple relative tables containing in over 155,000 records. I do not see any problems yet.
