In an IPO500v2 ESSENTIAL setup, I intend to have 30 Wireless phones and 15 IP Phones, with the possibility of growth, though not already projected.

How many licenses do I need in such a scenario? I'm coming from the IPO400 world where no licenses were required for IP and Wireless phones..

Thanks

You will need 45 if the wireless phones are ipdect phones.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

It's just maths, also I assume you were booted off this site under your original name :)

The Wireless phones are not IP DECT, but rather the 3645. Do they need licences in IPO500v2 at all?
Is it also correct that for these 3645 WRLS phones to work, I need 2 units of AWTS NETLINK AVPP 20 RHS?

Thanks

Anything IP needs an endpoint licence with the 500, you may be better off going for IP DECT, better coverage and battery life too :)

amriddle01 - that is true. I think at that time I unknowingly posted something that is against the rules although I honestly don't recall what it was:)
I am hoping I will not fall into that trap again.
So, If I plan to have 45+ phones, I should probably to get 60 end-point licenses?? Hmm, this is tough.

If you have a VCM32 then you will get 12 ip-endpoint licences for free. If you have the new VCM32V2 or a Combo card then you won't get any Avaya end-point licence for free.
