Hi folks
This is an odd question I have been given and it has me stumped.
Background:
We're migrating from one type of call recording system to another with ~20 M3905 sets attached to the PSAP call centre.
The powers that are want to know if I can connect to BOTH recorders at the same time to make the commissioning and migration of the recorders easier on the staff with as little downtime as possible, being that it is a 911 centre.
I have a bunch of BIX 5A taps that are already in place for the existing system, so the connection looks something like this:
[pre] ====> Set
+
+
TN ==========
+
+
====> Recorder[/pre]
What they want:
[pre] =====> Set
+
+
TN =============> Recorder 1
+
+
=====> Recorder 2[/pre]
My question is: Can I do this? I'd be driving the equivalent of 3 sets off one TN. Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks
