How many certified people

Does anyone know where you can find out how many people are CCNA's or CCNP's etc..? It seems like I found some info once on Cisco's website for CCIE's, but I can't find anything now.

I read somewhere that 5% of the ccnp's become ccie..so if you know how many ccie's there are...do the math.
I doubt whether cisco knows it exactly..

I believe that CCIE's are actually given a number when they successfully complete the exams. But, where that info is, I don't know. Have you tried certmag.com?

No, I haven't looked on there. At one time you could look on Cisco's website and they had information posted about how many CCIE's there were. They must have taken that off.

AS of 3-1-2005 Cisco has 12,004 CCIEs, here is some of what I found at Cisco, they also have a map showing how many are in each country worldwide.

I have no idea why the numbers below do not add up to the 12,004 in the breakdown by type ???? I would say the Routing and Switching is low as it is the oldest CCIE area.
