If I sar -d 5 10 with my 2.8ghz Xeon, RAID 5, Ultra 320 while one user is logged in moving a 5gb directory, then what throughput should I expect?

I can say I was getting 3200 or so and we had problems with the system going into "super slo-mo mode". We have tracked it down to the amirdmon deamon. We killed the process and now we get 7500 but I still don't know what a good number is.

Thanks for your help here, as always you guys are the bomb!
