Hello,

We're on a Windows/Intel environment here.
I'd like to know how many times the mqm tries to resend a message before it is sent to the dead.letter.queue?
Is it already after the first time that he gives up?
Or is it a parameter? If it is how can I see and change this parameter?

Tnx
Gert

Generally the QMgr does not retry at all - if the (remote) message cannot be delivered to the intended queue it is put straight onto the Dead Letter Queue.

For certain transient conditions, the Receiver channel will retry a specific number of times, pausing between each attempt (and blocking the channel, by the way). These values are determined by the Retry Count (MRRTY) and Retry Interval (MRTMR) parameters of the channel.

Cheers,
Paul
