Still looking to upgrade to the current version, but price is very restrictive. Anyone else in the same boat?

Probably full price at that age. E-mail me at SBTBILL.com and I'll get you a quote.

SBT Bill,

Care to let me know what full price is? Ballpark?

Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports

No, I am not wanting to discuss how much I have been quoted for the upgrade. I am trying to find out if there are others out there that also are not upgrading due to the cost.

If someone want to quote on an upgrade of an SBT Pro package with all the modules, I am willing to hear their offer. I am not interested in converting to another software platform.

We are still using 3.0 after a detour

We got sick and tired of MS Windows this and MS Windows that, even on brand new name brand hardware.

We are a real business that likes to make money and spend it on things that we think add value. Accounting is accounting since 1400 AD whatever and we got fed up as we were forced though a series of migratons from 3.0 to almost the present.

When we hit a rough patch in the last recession, we fired high falutin accountants and windows integrators and went out to eabay of all places and sourced missing 3.0 modules, tracked down data SBT dictionary book on AMazon and found rest of documentation at liquidation firm in Texas.

We scrapped out new versions of SBT and..............went back to real 100% MS DOS source coded 3.0 version, that we modified the souce code for our needs.

Net effect is that because we are running SBT 3.0 with y2k Fox on a MS-DOS Lan based network that piggy backs on the same ethernet as the rest of the firm (such software exists in industrial sector) we made money.

We turned a net capital a 50 K into 2.9 million because we we no longer getting distracted with repeated windows failures.

Also, we shucked staff that wanted to surf the web all day because when you are at your accouting desk, all you can do on your dos machine is your accounting applcation, SBT 3.0 and we are prowd of it.
