How make an object look like stone?

I'm making a logo for a friend, and he want it to look like a gravestone. Can someone help me?
 
Google for free stone textures and use a grayscale copy of the logo as a displacement map on the texture.

For details on displacement mapping, consult the manual.

there are granite and marble plus many other stone textures in the more textures part of the little drop down menu for that tool just click on load textures and append them to the default list

yep in photoshop. I believe it calls it a pattern in most places but its the same stuff in the texture tabs of the layer features dialog box. glad to help
